I was responsible for the inspection and release of instrumentation, electrical and mechanical equipment purchased by FWSA for various projects in the firm. I have had the opportunity to gain extensive experience in inspections at suppliers / vendors and I have a strong background in construction, commissioning and maintenance of instrumentation. I also have a good amount of experience in the electrical field . Currently I am more than comfortable to perform my duties, both in the workshops and on site. During my time at FWSA I was given the opportunity to learn and gain a good understanding and fair knowledge of mechanical equipment and piping related to the industry. I have been involved with various mechanical orders, performing inspections on pumps with specialized mechanical seal plans being manufactured. I also preformed inspections on package units whereby I liaised with the mechanical and instrumentation departments to assist with technical queries and engineering solutions to ensure that quality, standards and functionality was according to specifications.
